The organisers of a gay pride parade were today urged to ensure that there will be no repeat of the controversy surrounding last year’s event when a participant displayed a placard suggesting Jesus was a homosexual.

The Orange Order faced new demands today to end its boycott on dealing with the Northern Parades Commission.
