SCOTTISH lock Nathan Hines, currently in South Africa with the British and Irish Lions, is to quit French side Perpignan to join Heineken Cup champions Leinster.

New Leinster signing, Wellington and Hurricanes flyhalf David Holwell, will leave for Ireland on September 26, two-thirds of the way through Wellington’s National Provincial Championship campaign.

New Leinster signing Felipe Contepomi will not take part in the pool stages of the Heineken European Cup this season.
