A neighbour has told the trial of a woman charged with murdering her boyfriend that the man was "always" the aggressor in the couple’s arguments.

Update 9.23pm: The mother of singer Shane MacGowan died in a road accident in co Tipperary today.

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for the public's help in tracing 37-year-old David Wakefield, who has been missing from his home in Tipperary since Saturday morning.
