Accumulated profits at the commercial firm owned by Irish rugby legend Paul O’Connell during the final year of his illustrious playing career climbed to €1.38m.

Paul O’Connell, who captained Ireland to Six Nations glory last weekend, has even more reason to celebrate with new accounts showing his firm’s accumulated profits have topped €1m for the first time.

The cash pile at the firm owned by Ireland and Munster rugby player Paul O’Connell increased last year by 19% to €850,211.
