An Irishman is in a serious condition in hospital after suffering “traumatic asphyxia” during Spain’s San Fermin bull run, according to Spanish media reports.

A packed running of the bulls in Pamplona has left one person gored and two slightly injured, the government of Spain’s northern Navarra region said today.
