Ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's wife and other relatives fled to Algeria today, its foreign ministry said.

GENERAL Abdel Fatah Younis, leader of Libya's rebel forces, has been killed, according to the National Transition Council.

FRANCE promised Libyan rebels yesterday it would intensify air strikes on Muammar Gaddafi’s forces and send military liaison officers to help them as fighting raged in the besieged city of Misrata.
