China's Communist Party leader Xi Jinping has unveiled the line-up of the party's highest body who will rule alongside him as he embarks on a second five-year term as party leader.

China will never adopt multi-party democracy or other Western-style political reforms that could challenge the Communist Party's grip on power, the head of the country's national legislature said today.
