BRITAIN’S Met Office yesterday released temperature records from more than 1,500 climate monitoring stations around the world in the latest efforts to debunk claims by sceptics that global warming data was manipulated by scientists.

THE UN’s top climate change official says the EU has sent a “very encouraging” signal to developing countries by committing itself to bold measures against global warming.

This winter in the northern hemisphere was the warmest on record, the US government said in the latest report focusing on changing climate.

Worldwide, it was the warmest September on record, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said today.
