Teachers interested in learning how to tackle bullying both online and in their schools are invited to sign-up for free training with the National Anti-Bullying Centre (ABC).

The National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals have welcomed an anti-bullying and online safety training programme that will be offered to every post-primary school in Ireland.

Less than 20% of parents supervise their children's use of social media, according to findings contained in research released today by the National Anti-Bullying Centre at DCU.

The strength of people power is to be harnessed to help identify and block subtle cyberbullying that can currently get through online filters.

Children who experience violence, harsh discipline, or neglect are more likely to be cyberbullies or their victims, according to a research review for the Government.
