The Johnston Press media group has sold its fourteen regional newspaper titles to Iconic Newspapers Limited, a company run by British advertising executive Malcolm Denmark.

JOHNSTON Press newspapers in the Irish Republic is on the market at a knockdown price, maybe as low as €50 million, according to industry insiders.

SCOTTISH Radio Holdings, (SRH) owner of Today FM and the Kilkenny People, expects revenues to increase by close to 15% this year.

TODAY FM owner Scottish Radio Holdings’s Irish businesses are not performing as well as its British assets, where full year sales are expected to rise 18% for the full year.
