The owner of Cadbury is looking to lay off 70 staff at its Dublin production plant.

The Government is being called upon to act to save jobs at Cadburys in Coolock in Dublin, and Rathmore in Kerry.

Trade union officials are seeking urgent meetings with Cadbury’s parent company, Mondelez, after it yesterday announced it would be cutting 222 jobs from across three of its plants in Dublin and Kerry.
