The owner of the exclusive five-star hotel that last week entertained Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, last year saw his Shannon-based electronic component manufacturer return to profit.

The loss-making main Irish unit of electronic component manufacturer Molex, last year added to the fortune of the magnate who owns Ireland’s most exclusive hotel.

The main Irish unit of the US-owned electronic component manufacturer, Molex went into the red last year as revenues fell by 10% to €51.5m.
