A police officer shot on the campus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has died from injuries.

An Irish nanny has been remanded in custody in the US charged with murdering a one-year-old girl she was caring for, authorities have confirmed.

British man Neil Entwistle is due to appear in a US court today accused of murdering his American wife and baby.

Neil Entwistle, whose wife and infant daughter were found shot to death in their home, has been arrested for their murders, Emily LaGrassa, spokesman for the Middlesex District Attorney’s office in Massachusetts said today.
