A Mid West nurses’ leader has slammed as “sexist and insulting” a HSE document setting out a proposed dress code for nurses and other female staff at five hospitals in the region.

Health service unions are to consult their members today following the collapse of talks with the HSE about the centralisation of accident and emergency services in the mid-west.
