Two British journalists have been released on bail today, just hours before they had to appear in court to face charges of violating Zimbabwe’s strict media laws and immigration offences.

AS JOURNALISTS the world over commemorated World Press Freedom Day yesterday, another independent newspaper in Zimbabwe faces closure after the Media and Information Commission appointed by the Government claimed it was publishing illegally.
