Loose lips sink ships and so it has come to pass that foolish tweets on Sunday evening have ended Tim O’Leary’s relationship with the Mayo GAA executive.

Mayo GAA have cut off all official ties with benefactor Tim O’Leary after he appeared to call for James Horan to be removed in a tweet.

Following a meeting with Mayo officials in Croke Park last Friday, the GAA leadership are now keen to speak to the Mayo International Supporters Foundation chairman Tim O’Leary about resolving the impasse.

Mayo GAA are set for another wave of pressure, after a leaked letter from Tim O’Leary, chairman of Mayo International Supporters Foundation, places question marks over their corporate governance.
