The founder of fast-food chain Supermac’s has bought the Charleville Park Hotel in North Cork with a view to a €1m upgrade.

The owner of the Supermac’s fast food empire is continuing to expand into the hotel business with the purchase of a 91-bedroom hotel in Loughrea, Co Galway.
