AS Irish hotel sales inch up to an end-of-year €500m tally, more hotels, north and south of the Border, have found new owners in the past week, in Wexford, Galway and Fermanagh.

Killarney’s 188-bed Quality Hotel which had a price tag of €3 million has been bought by East Cork farming family the Crimmins.

Cork’s Radisson Blu Hotel which was developed at a cost of €37m, is for sale for €8m, with strong trading figures and good profits clocked up over the past three years.

The luxury Fermanagh hotel which hosted the most peaceful G8 in history could be sold by the end of the summer, it was revealed today.
