BANK of Ireland has secured a €22.5 million summary judgment order on consent against a Dublin businessman over unpaid property loans.

ANGLO Irish Bank is seeking judgment orders for €26 million arising from personal loans made to insolvent well-known businessman Brendan Murtagh, whose total liabilities are estimated at €353m.

GARDAÍ are checking bank accounts belonging to fugitive developer Greg Coughlan in an effort to trace his whereabouts.

GARDAÍ have been given High Court approval to break into the lavish home of Howard Holdings king-pin Greg Coughlan, if necessary, to arrest him over unpaid loans of more than €28 million.
