Newly-appointed super junior minister Jan O’Sullivan has pledged to have her voice heard in Cabinet despite not having the right to vote.

EMBATTLED Labour leader Eamon Gilmore is delaying the replacement of walk-out minister Willie Penrose in order to try and head-off further budget rebellions.

WILLIE Penrose disputed figures provided by the Taoiseach on the cost savings associated with the closure of Columb Barracks, saying the numbers “don’t stand up”.
