The world’s biggest state- backed funds are joining the Great Rotation portfolio switch out of bonds into equities, a move that risks crowding the trade and lessening the allure.

INTERNATIONAL fund management group BNY Mellon said the amount of funds under administration in Ireland it controls has grown dramatically to more than $500 billion (€350bn).

Dublin: International law firm, Maples & Calder has increased its market share in Ireland by nearly 400% in the past two years, meaning it now ranks as the second largest company of its kind in the Irish market, according to latest ranking figures from analysis firm, Lipper.
