A wall climbing centre has announced it has to restrict those who can access its facilities as it has been unable to secure public liability insurance.

There is “no single policy or legislative initiative” that the Government can take to make insurance providers cover Irish leisure, tourism and adventure operators, according to the minister for state with responsibility for financial services and insurance.

Bouncy-castle providers are engaging with an Irish-based broker in the hopes of finding a new insurance provider for the sector.
