Mick O'Dwyer has been nominated for the role of Laois senior football manager, a position he took on between 2003 and 2006, despite not yet confirming that he is finished with Wicklow.

Laois GAA Co Board have began their search for a new senior football manager following a meeting of the O'Moore County's football clubs last night in Portlaoise.

MICK O’DWYER will tell Laois GAA chiefs next week that he is ready to lead the county’s Championship challenge for next season at least.
