Transport Minister Paschal Donohoe has said that he does not want to cut the government's subvention to Irish Rail any further.

Protesting workers at the Vita Cortex plant in Cork have voted to accept a series of recommendations from the Labour Relations Commision (LRC) aimed at ending the dispute.
