There has been an understandably euphoric reaction from the Spanish media after the national side became the first side to win three major international tournaments in a row last night.

AFTER scoring the winning goal in the 1-0 final win over Germany, Fernando Torres hailed Spain’s Euro 2008 success as “a great victory for a whole country.”
