GLORIOUS autumnal conditions favoured the Royal Cork Offshore Day and, in a light to moderate south easterly breeze Class One sailed around the Cork Buoy, down to the Bullman Buoy off Kinsale and back to the finish at Roches Point.

THE people of the beautiful West Cork fishing village and holiday resort of Schull are on the verge of embarking on a huge harbour development scheme and have already shown their total commitment by raising €145,000 towards the cost.
