ALL alterations made onboard fishing vessels should be immediately notified to the marine authorities, according to a report on the sinking of a trawler off the coast of Wexford, which resulted in the death of a crewman.

A Government minister visited Wexford today to express his sympathies to the families of those bereaved in the Rising Sun tragedy as the search went on for the captain of the ship and a diver killed during the search operation.

TWO fishermen were miraculously plucked from the sea hours after their fishing boat sank off the Saltee Islands yesterday afternoon. A third man is still missing.
