THE future of more than 2,800 jobs at Superquinn was uncertain last night following the appointment of a receiver to the supermarket chain.

The ISEQ index was down 2.38 points at 6302.23 today.

SHARES in Dublin ended in positive territory for the first day in five. The ISEQ index closed up 42.24 to 6035.71.
