One of the country’s top radio training colleges has unveiled Ireland’s largest digital broadcast training studio.

Broadcasting group UTV today said a strong performance from its talkSPORT radio division helped drive a 5% rise in operating profits last year.

Broadcaster Ulster TV shook hands today on a £98.2m (€144.5m) offer for the owner of talkSPORT radio.
