The US is moving a secret commando unit from Iraq to Afghanistan to step up the hunt for Osama bin Laden, it was reported in Washington today.

Elite forces from Britain and the US are likely to play a crucial role in the attacks on Afghanistan - but co-ordinating them could prove difficult, military analysts said yesterday.
