Talks to save 95 Jane Norman concession stores have broken down, leaving 500 people uncertain about their jobs.

MORE than 400 staff in Ireland and Britain are to lose their jobs after administrators failed to find a buyer for 35 Jane Norman stores.

Women's fashion firm Jane Norman fell into administration today in a move which could put up to 1,600 UK jobs at risk.

British fashion chain Jane Norman was today sold for £117.4m (€170.4m), in the latest deal involving the Icelandic investment group Baugur.
