The ISEQ managed to regain losses incurred over the past two days, climbing 26.16 points today to close at 6,172.77.

The ISEQ index of shares put a lacklustre start to the week behind it this morning as it gained 25.66 points to 6172.27 in early trading.

Issuing its update for 2004, Independent News & Media plc today announced that it has entered into a sale and purchase agreement to acquire 26% of Indian newspaper publisher Jagran Prakashan Private Limited for €25.5m.
