Building materials giant CRH is expected to see lower-than-anticipated earnings growth in 2017 in light of potential ongoing market volatility and economic uncertainty.

CRH is understood to be among a group of cement manufacturers (including Lafarge and Italcementi) in the running to acquire Andhra Cements (ACL), the southern India-based cement producer.
