Dublin's stock exchange had a good start to the day as it saw its price rise 60.64 points to 6,276.32 by 11am today.

Dublin's index of shares saw a 10.57 rise by 11am today to stand at 5,951.75 with financials making a sizable positive contribution.

Dublin's ISEQ index closed up 20 points to 5,326 today with gains in the financial and pharmaceutical sectors outweighing losses from Ryanair and Jurys.
