Cable operator NTL today announced the appointment of a new executive charged with overseeing its drive to improve levels of customer service.

THE sale of NTL’s Irish business delivered a profit on disposal of almost €200 million, the cable TV operator said yesterday.

ntl Ireland has been sold by its US parent company to MS Irish Cable Holdings, in a deal worth €325m.
