Sunderland’s new partnership with The Nelson Mandela Foundation is not under threat following the appointment of Paolo Di Canio, the organisation confirmed today.

Sunderland shirt sponsor Invest in Africa has distanced itself from being drawn into the debate surrounding the controversial appointment of new manager Paolo Di Canio.

Sunderland today announced it had reached an agreement for Invest in Africa to become their official partner and shirt sponsor.
