The Irish-owned telecommunications group Digiweb returned to profitability last year despite a dip in revenues.

Digiweb Group has acquired the telephony and broadband subsidiary of the TalkTalk Telecom Group PLC in Ireland and Belgium, it was announced today.

Broadband provider Digiweb has today announced the acquisition of rival Internet Ireland.
