A WORLDWIDE nursing federation has backed criticism of Government-sponsored overseas' recruitment campaigns which poach staff from developing countries.

Siemens AG's Information and Communication Networks unit has announced it has won an order together with the Information and Communication Mobile unit in Nigeria, worth a three-digit million euro figure.

German company Siemens today said it will cut 5,000 more jobs, 2,000 of them at home, by the end of next year.

Siemens is to report on its last three months when it was forced to cut jobs as fewer people than expected bought mobile phones.
