GARDAÍ in Galway are considering whether to investigate the activities of a specialised Compaq computer engineering group after a formal complaint was lodged by Irish CND and anti-war activists.

ALL Government grants will be withdrawn from Compaq’s Irish operations if a Department of Enterprise inquiry confirms the firm’s Galway facility was in breach of export laws, the IDA has said.
