CROKE PARK will be unavailable for next year’s prestigious World Handball Championships because of its handball centre’s protracted planning permission process.

Five in-a-row All-Ireland 60 x 30 handball winner Eoin Kennedy says authorities have missed out on a 'glorious opportunity' to promote the game by not including a representative from the GAA sport as one of the Grand Marshals for this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin.

The Irish Handball Council has warned patrons intending to travel to tonight's Coca-Cola All-Ireland 60 x 30 Handball Finals at Croke Park that there will be a reduced seating capacity due to ongoing works.
