In the UK, two of Baby P’s social workers have lost an appeal against an employment tribunal ruling that they were fairly sacked.

Baby Peter’s death was “an eminently avoidable tragedy” that could have been prevented if two social workers had done their jobs properly, a disciplinary hearing in Britain was told today.
