Monaghan’s Josh Moffett (Ford Fiesta WRC) and his Wexford co-driver Andy Hayes took a start to finish victory in a round of the Triton Showers National Rally Championship.

Josh Moffett’s victory in the Enniskillen Trailer Parts & Spares Lakeland Rally that saw him clinch the Valvoline Irish Forest Rally Championship, was mired in controversy after he was excluded from the results; but after two appeals and a stewards’ meeting the decision was overturned and he was re-instated as rally winner some five hours later.

Armagh’s Darren Gass (23) and his Monaghan co-driver, Enda Sherry in their S10 Subaru took a thrilling victory in the Safety Direct Galway International Rally, the opening round of the Irish Tarmac Championship.

An exciting finish to the Circuit of Ireland Rally resulted in a narrow 4.9 second victory for Wexford’s, Eamonn Boland/Damien Morrissey (Subaru WRC) who fended off the challenge of Gareth MacHale/Craig Parry (Ford Focus WRC).

Derry’s Kevin Lynch and his co-driver Francis Regan in their KPL backed Subaru WRC will begin today's second and final leg of the Windscreen Company Cork Forest Rally with a comfortable lead of well over a minute.
