The future of Belfast’s troubled Harland and Wolff shipyard looked brighter tonight after it announced that an American customer was finally paying well over £20m to them following a year-long legal fight over the money.

The British High Court in London is due to give its judgement today in a £21m dispute which could decide the future of Belfast shipyard Harland and Wolff.
