Diversified food group, Glanbia has maintained its full-year guidance for 8%-10% adjusted earnings per share growth on the back of a strong trading performance for the first nine months of the year.

Financial analysts have responded favourably to Glanbia’s half-year results, which saw its revenue for the first half of the year rise by 13% to almost €1.68bn.

Siobhan Talbot is set to succeed John Moloney as group managing director of Glanbia, at the end of this year — becoming the first woman to head up a major Irish food company.
