Gibraltar have confirmed their Euro 2016 home qualifier against Ireland next year will take place in Faro.

The Europa League winners will qualify for the Champions League from the 2015-16 season, it was confirmed at UEFA’s Congress today.

Gibraltar could soon have its own national football team after Spanish efforts to block the move were overturned by judges.
