Equine Flu is the talk of racing at the moment. I don’t know what’s going to happen or what the repercussions might be. The BHA are obviously trying to contain it. But one of the horses that ran in Ayr the other day has it now, so I don’t know how long racing in the UK will be off, writes Ruby Walsh

With the ground the way it is, this is going to be another quiet weekend for the stable. There was rain due yesterday evening, more today and by tomorrow we could even be thinking we should have had more runners declared but, as it stands, the ground at Fairyhouse and Navan is too dry.

Unfortunately, I’m missing the Listowel meeting as I’m still a bit sore after the injury I picked up in Killarney and need a little more time. Of course, I’d love to be involved, particularly in today’s Kerry National which looks another very competitive renewal.
