Four people have died after a UK-registered light aircraft crashed in Dubai, authorities said.

The United Arab Emirates has claimed Qatari fighter jets intercepted two of its commercial airliners in international airspace on the way to Bahrain.

A UPS cargo plane with two crew members on board crashed shortly after takeoff yesterday outside Dubai, officials said.
