Date-rape drugs are still too easily available around the world and countries need to clamp down on them, a watchdog said yesterday.

Police searching for chemicals used to make the date-rape drug GHB raided some 600 homes and offices in Austria, Switzerland and Germany today, German investigators said.

WARNINGS have been issued over the use of chemicals, commonly found in solvents, as a recreational drug.

Singer George Michael, who has admitted driving while unfit, had a cocktail of drugs in his system including GHB and cannabis, a court heard today.
