The collision between a motorcycle and a car occurred on the N10 at Templemartin at around 8.45pm last night.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was knocked down by a van in Co Donegal.

An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist in his 40s was killed in a crash in Co Cork.

Gardaí are investigating after they were called to the scene of a collision in Mallow shortly after 5pm this evening.

The incident occurred at around 2pm when the boy was struck by a car while cycling on a minor road at Heathfield in Pollagh.
