GARDAÍ have launched a major initiative in north and east Cork aimed at cracking down on bogus callers who are robbing the elderly and other vulnerable people.

A BUSINESSMAN is expected to meet with gardaí today in a bid to resolve a serious dispute over the sale of replica Garda items.
